Lamination

The ALUWEDO lamination workshop spans an area of 5,000 square meters. The granular core is dissolved at high temperature of 230 degrees Celsius. It is extruded at high pressure to form a preset thickness. In addition, we apply double aluminum roll and polymer film to the lamination process. Rolls are changed automatically, and the aluminum composite is processed safely and efficiently. After being processed by multiple sets of high-temperature heated rollers and air dryers, the aluminum composite panel that has been shaped will undergo a lamination and cutting process. It can be cut to any length or width based upon client’s specifications. The dimensional tolerance is 1mm higher than the national standard.

Products are carefully packed in wooden cases or bulk packed. They are secured with wire ropes to prevent damage during transport. The entire package is protective and aesthetically pleasing.

  • Cutting the shaped aluminum composite panel according to the dimension

Lamination is the first step of manufacturing aluminum composite panel. After putting the core into the hopper, and setting the polymeric membrane and protective film, the manufacturing process will be carried out.

This step is aluminum process. A polymer film is used to paste the aluminum sheet and core. With core in the middle, there is one aluminum sheet and one core in both sides. High-temperature heating is needed in the aluminum process, which is used to bond the aluminum sheet and core together. And the heating process needs to be carried out in 130 centigrade.

After the laminating, the aluminum composite panel is shaped. Then it will undergo squeezing process to make it firm. In the middle of the squeezing process, there is a hairdryer to clean the ashes and other fouls attached on the aluminum panel. The machine is used to guarantee that the panel surface is clean before pasting the film.

The last step of manufacturing process is cutting. Two staff is asked to deliver the cutting process. The aluminum composite panel will be cut by two staff when it arrives to a definite size, and the panel after the cutting process will be placed orderly on the wooden tray. It can be cut into any length or width based upon client’s specifications.

This step is carried out to paste the protective film on the board, which can on the one hand protect the aluminum composite panel surface, and on the other hand it can also be used to advertise our products. It is for sure that the protective film could be customized.

Products are carefully packed in wooden cases or bulk packed. The boxes are fixed with wooden boards. Four right angles design guarantees the security of the wooden boxes. They are secured with wire ropes to prevent damage during transport. The entire package is protective and aesthetically pleasing.
